Accountant / Odoo Specialist

Job Overview

Urbane Retails is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant / Odoo Specialist to manage financial operations and optimize our accounting processes through Odoo ERP. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on Odoo experience, and the ability to support business growth through accurate financial reporting and system management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
• Manage invoicing, billing, and payment processing through Odoo.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Odoo Accounting modules.
• Monitor inventory valuation and financial transactions within Odoo ERP.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial policies.
• Generate financial insights and management reports.
• Collaborate with management to improve accounting workflows and business processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Proven experience working with Odoo ERP, particularly Accounting and Inventory modules.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, bookkeeping, and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Odoo certification or advanced ERP experience.
• Experience in retail or eCommerce accounting.
• Knowledge of inventory management and costing methods.
• Experience with payroll processing and financial forecasting.
